Founder Story

"A banker by profession. A foodpreneur by destiny"

Pind Bhatura was founded by Vikram Grover, who spent five years (2018–2023) building the brand while simultaneously working in a full-time banking role.
The idea never began as a franchise plan. Vikram simply wanted to serve authentic, honest Chole Bhature, the way it is enjoyed in north indian homes warm, flavourful, and comforting.

What followed was unexpected?

Customers visiting the Gurgaon outlet – many from other cities – didn’t just enjoy the food. They asked:

Why don’t we have this in our city? Can we open one back home?

That’s how franchising began — not through sales pitches, but through customer demand. In 2023, after seeing consistent growth, organic franchise interest, and strong unit economics, Vikram took the decisive step of leaving his banking career to commit himself full-time to Pind Bhatura. Today, every new city entered by the brand is a result of real demand, real belief, and real partners — not forced expansion.

In Delhi-NCR, 51% of consumers reported ordering North Indian snack/ deliverables. Branded Chole Bhature concepts are moving beyond street stalls into premium QSR formats. the next wave of growth for Chole Bhature QSR is outside North India — in uncharted cities where consumer demand is high and brand presence is low.
